All my life I've been able to live in a fantasy world, away from everyone else's reality, in peace and seclusion. One scene in one movie can change your entire perception of a film. It's the story of a woman who loses hope in life after her husband leaves her. Alone she has to face the world, all of its problems. And have you ever had this happen to you? That is the beauty of life, it is so unusual, so unpredictable that what happens to one person can affect someone else. The film was watched by the late Sadhna Sargam during her final days. Sargam died after watching Mausam for the first time and my heart stopped with hers. It brought tears to my eyes even now; I am reminded every time I watch it. My wish was to share the film with as many people as I could. And now I can, thanks to you all. I thank you for your help and support, the message is loud and clear: "We want to see more films like Mausam". The ones that make us laugh, cry and feel like we've known all along them: the stories that we're connected to by a common thread of fate and destiny.
